Technology is a Catalyst of Change!

I think that it is important that we roll with the times, and instead of fighting we should embrace what technology has given us (within reason of course). I found this video on youtube that gives ten tips on how to integrate technology into the classroom and thought you might like to see it.
Absolutely Ellen! When reading your blog, it made me thing about the quote in Collins and Halverson (2009). "There is a deep belief among teachers and parents that to truly learn something, it is critical to do it on your own without any reliance on outside resources." This is wrong on so many levels. Think of all the recourses that can be used to reinforce things that can be learned on your own. Many technology resources may also teach more efficiently than a person that is learning independently.
